Obituary for Valentine J. Crescentini Sr. Valentine “Nini” Crescentini Sr., 87, was met by his wife Mary at Heaven’s Gate on Saturday November 10, 2018. Born in New Britain, CT, he was the son of Guido and Domenica (Conti). Val leaves behind his daughter Deborah Adachowski (Joseph); a son, Val Jr. (Tara Kelly); three grandchildren, Val III, Danielle and Melissa; seven great grandchildren; sister, Ann Marie Kelley and several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his brothers Turidio and Alfred. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, serving during the Korean War and a retiree of the State of Connecticut, employed at the CCSU campus. Calling hours will be held Thursday 4 to 7 PM and Friday from 11 to 11:30 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 12 Noon at St. Ann Church of Saint Joachim Parish, 101 North Street, New Britain. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Please share a memory or note of sympathy at www.
