Vanessa’s Obituary Vanessa Biles Barnes, age 59, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Duke University Hospital in Durham. She was born on June 19, 1959, in Stanly County, NC to the late C.H. Biles and the late Ramelle Dennis Biles. She was the former manager of Roses in Lumberton.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby D. Barnes of the home; one son, Joshua Shane Foreman of Albemarle; one daughter, Grayc Elizabeth Renae Barnes of the home; three stepchildren: Catherine Barnes of Lumberton, Bobby D. Barnes II (Mary Catherine) of Lumberton, and Shandy Leigh Deese of the home; five grandchildren: Brendon, Braydon, and Jaydin Frey of Lumberton, Destiny Elijah-Blu Barnes of Lumberton, and Nathan Shane Foreman of Albemarle; one brother, Chris Anthony Biles (Elizabeth) of Mt. Pleasant; and two sisters, Teresa Biles of Albemarle and Holly Biles of Florida. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton.
