OBITUARY Vera L. Wright August 16, 1924 – October 31, 2018 Vera Wright, 94, Kansas City, MO passed away October 31, 2018. She was born August 16, 1924 in Viola, Arkansas to Issac and Doise Wilson. She spent her early childhood years in Arkansas before moving to the Kansas City area, spending most of her adult life in the Northeast side.

She married Donald Wright in 1977. Vera enjoyed making quilts and was an avid bowler, earning numerous bowling trophies in her younger years. When her children and grandchildren came along, Vera spent most of her time fishing, camping and attending family get togethers.

She was a was member of the Moose Lodge #2414 in Independence since 2014. Vera is proceeded in death by her husband Donald; sister Carmen Henry; brother Paul Wilson; granddaughter Dawn Loyd and grandson Jason Humbird. Survivors include her three children, Cliff Bishop and wife Connie; Bill Haynes and Sue Humbird; grandchildren Heather Woods, Matthew Haerer, William Haerer, Angela Troy, Sara Mullinix-Alt, and Stephanie Grisham; 15 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
