OBITUARY Verda G. Kelley April 14, 1920 – September 19, 2018 Verda Atkins Kelley, 98, years of age originally of Carbon Hill, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Woodland Village Health Care Center in Cullman, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Atkins and Grace Atkins; brothers, Mitchell Atkins, Paul Atkins, and sister, Nell Tate. Verda is survived by her three children; Arthur Boyd Ennis (Anne), Mitchell Lewis Ennis (AnoIa), and Candice C. Ennis; grandchildren Arthur B. Ennis Jr. PharmD (JoAnne Rossman MD), Mitchell Ennis, Jr. CRNP, Henry Ennis MD, and Nancy Ennis PharmD.

She was a devoted mother known for her quick wit and outgoing personality. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a celebration of Verda’s life following at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
