Vicky L. (Forney) Brooks, 70, of Bellevue went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky. She was born in Bellevue on December 3, 1948 the daughter of Don “Irish” and Arla “Peewee” Forney. She was a 1967 graduate of Thompson High School, graduating with honors.

Vicky was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a heart of gold, helping those who needed help, even if it meant she went without. She had a beautiful smile, loved to laugh and especially loved to dance.

We are sure she danced her way to into heaven. Vicky was employed throughout her life at Hogues, Seven Limers and retired from Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde. In her retirement she volunteered at the Fish & Loaves Pantry.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Geoff Kidd) Sanderson of Bellevue and her son Brian (Larry Dominguez) Rhodes of Fredericksburg, VA; sisters: Shirley (Ron) Creech, Cindy Moyer-Todd and Diane (Bob) Moore, all of Bellevue; brothers: Ted (Kathy) Forney of Genoa, Mark (Lisa) Forney and Randy Forney of Bellevue; Grandchildren: Melissa Robinson, Kyle Robinson both of Bellevue, Michelle (Brett) Moore of Bloomville; Brittany and Caitlyn Juliano of Bellevue; Great grandchildren: Summer, Kaylynn, Emma, and Gracie Moore, Aubry Gerhing, Aaleiha Larson, Tyler Larson, and Shane Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tara Rhodes in 2018; and infant brother, Terry. Following cremation, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials, if desired, can be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky or Fish and Loaves Pantry of Bellevue. Foos & Foos Funeral Service is in care of arrangements.
