Victor Boren, 72, passed away April 29 at his home. He is predeceased by his parents Mary Ann and Elijah Boren and his wife, Evvy Curtis. Vic was a 1964 graduate of Eastern High School and a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.

He retired from Cummins Diesel in 2004 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Middletown VFW Post 1170, an avid University of Kentucky fan, a Corvette enthusiast and a lifelong follower of the local bands The Monarchs and The Metros. He is survived by his sister, Rosemary Boren Hail, children Shannon (Penny) and grandchildren Sterling and Spencer, Sherie (Jason) and grandchildren Nathan, Sarah, Galina, and Arthur, and step-daughter Michelle and granddaughter, Elizabeth.

His good friends Don Conway and David Geoghegan and Diesel, his dog and beloved daily companion. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Victor Boren please visit our Sympathy Store.
