Obituary for Victoria Dowty (Lock) Victoria Jean Dowty, 67, of Rensselaer, passed away Saturday morning, February 10, 2018 at the Rensselaer Care Center. She was born in Rensselaer on September 4, 1950, the daughter of Lloyd Lock and Violet (Derflinger) Lock. Vicky worked for many years for Schumacher Electric Corporation until it closed in 2001.

She was a member of the Rensselaer Moose Lodge. She enjoyed canning and sewing and camping, hunting and fishing with her husband Rick. She is survived by three brothers: James Lock (Donna), Bill Lock (Patty), and Joe Lock (Diane); two sisters, Donna Lynn Sinks and Colleen Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Private graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
