Vilma Turkupolis, 91, of Muskego, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Oak Park Place in Burlington. Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba Canada on April 25, 1927, she was the oldest of seven children to James and Olga (nee Lindenberg) Branagh. She spent her early life in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada where she graduated from high school.

Peteris preceded her in death on January 1, 2003. Vilma worked as an Executive Secretary for Rexnord and was a member of St. Leonard’s Church in Muskego. She was a good hearted person, but wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.

She was honest and loved everyone. Vilma is survived by her sister, Ida (Maxwell) Somers of Winnipeg, sister-in-law, Cleo Branagh, brother-in-law, Donald Heffel along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, James Branagh, Adam (Elma) Branagh, Ruby Heffel, Betty (Bill) Lytwinuk and Alma Branagh.

. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice Alliance would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of Oak Park Place and Hospice Alliance for their wonderful care and compassion.

Services for Vilma will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Friday, November 16th from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will immediately follow.
