Violet Louise McCormick, 90, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Signature of Hartford. She was born May 25, 1928 in Render Community in Ohio County to the late Recie E. Plummer and Maude Marie Likens Plummer. Mrs. McCormick was a homemaker and member of McHenry Baptist Church.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, Thomas Neal McCormick; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Young and Sadie Irene Likens; one step sister, Wilma Lois Rice; two step brothers, Kenneth C. Young and Clifford Young and one niece, Anna Lynn Barron. She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Sherree McCormick (Tom Eaton) of Beaver Dam; two nephews, Recie Young and Billy Barron and one niece, Becky Pogue. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 2, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro.

Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. McCormick’s family Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
