Obituary for Virgil Ezekiel Davis Virgil Ezekiel Davis, 79, of Trenton passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. Mr. Davis was born to Richard and Mary Louise Davis on November 29, 1938. He served in the United States Army.

Mr. Davis was a mechanic for the Levy County School District, and enjoyed doing mechanics as a hobby, along with woodworking, fishing and also Blue Grass music. He was a member of Joppa Baptist Church in Trenton, Florida. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Ann Davis of Trenton, FL; son, Virgil (Dana) Davis of Chiefland, FL; daughters, Theresa (Leslie) Sapp of Trenton, FL and Angela (Aaron) Gay of Colonial Heights, VA; brothers, Lynwood Ray Davis of Cario, GA and William Daniel Davis of Leesburg, FL; sister, Virginia Faircloth of Cario, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Amanda (Spencer) Cook, Allison (Blake) Midgette, Victoria Sapp and Easton (Ashley) Sapp; great-grandchild, Lawson Sapp.

Funeral services will be held at Joppa Baptist Church, 7030 NW 165th St., Trenton, FL, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2-3 pm. Interment will follow at Joppa Cemetery, 7530 NW 165th St., Trenton, FL.
