Obituary for Virginia “Gini” Fulton Virginia L. Fulton Kearney Resident Virginia L. “Gini” Fulton, 95, of Kearney (formerly of Denver, Colorado) passed away on November 27, 2018 at St. John’s Good Samaritan Home in Kearney. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. December 17, 2018 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Memorials are suggested to AseraCare Hospice.

Virginia Lea “Gini” Fulton was born on August 25, 1923 in Lyman, Nebraska to Floyd and Helen (Lewis) Kellums. Floyd passed away when Gini was three and Helen later married Ben Matthes. Helen and Ben raised Gini together in Lyman, where she graduated from Lyman High School.

Gini was united in marriage to Robert Fulton on August 18, 1946 in Denver, Colorado and to this union three children were born: Terree, Sherree and Barry. The couple made their home in Denver, where Gini worked as a secretary for Cherry Creek Schools until retiring at the age of 80 years old. Gini was past national and chapter president of Clipped Wings, past national president of the National Association of Educational Office Personnel (NAEOP) and time past president of the Colorado Association of Office Personnel (CAEOP).

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terree Warren and her husband, Jim of Kearney, Nebraska, and Sherree Cordova and her husband, Arnie of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; son, Barry Fulton and his wife, Jennie of Grand Junction, Colorado; grandchildren, Brooke McEntee (Brett Gallagher) of Seattle, Washington, Ryan McEntee (April Geiger) of Ankeny, Iowa, Charlie (Heather) Cordova of Parker, Colorado, Steve (Erin) Cordova of Parker, Colorado and Trevor Fulton of Denver, Colorado; three great-grandchildren, Sofia, Blake and Charlotte Cordova; along with many other relatives and friends. Gini was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; and her brother and sister.
