Virginia A. “Jenny” Tadlock, 81, of Galveston, went home to be with the Lord at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born September 3, 1937 in Magness, Arkansas to Marshel H. and Virl (Powell) Stroud. She first married Edward D. Gould and he preceded her in death serving his country in Vietnam in 1965.

She later married Charles “Ray” Tadlock and he preceded her in death in 1993. Jenny was a homemaker and had worked for Peoples Bank in South Carolina, and most recently the Galveston Library. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Galveston and enjoyed yard work.

Surviving family include her brother, Charles (Jan) Stroud, Galveston and nephews, Brian Stroud, Kokomo and Jason (Chastity) Stroud, Galveston and niece Angela Stroud, Galveston. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob and Husbands, Edward D. Gould and Charles “Ray” Tadlock. Private family services will be held at Galveston Cemetery with Pastor Don McDowell officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Galveston Vol. Fire Dept. Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements.
