Obituary for Virginia Lee Park A funeral service for Virginia Lee Park, age 74, of Nacogdoches is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Wallace-Thompson chapel with Pastor Keith Hassell officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Ms. Park passed away January 10, 2019 in Nacogdoches.

She was born July 8, 1944 in San Diego, CA to the late Clarence Virgal and Bertie Constance Daniels Stokes. She was a resident of Nacogdoches for four years formerly of Rusk and Jacksonville. Ms. Park graduated from Lon Morris College as a member of Phi Theta Kappa with an associate’s degree in business and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Rusk.

She loved fishing and was an avid bowler. Everyone who knew her loved her and her beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Bonnie Collier of Vidor, TX, Patrick and Betty Lowery of Rusk, Ricky Lowery of Greenville, TX, Jason and Donnise Park of Tallahassee, FL, twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the funeral home.
