VIRGINIA LOUISE MOULTHROP (nee Brandt), 97, of Lyndhurst, OH, died October 22, 2018 at the McGregor Home in East Cleveland. Born March 21, 1921 to Grace Doolittle Brandt and Robert Frederick Brandt. Beloved wife of 70 years of John Matthew Moulthrop (died 2014); devoted mother of Virginia McDonnell (Milton), Jane Gelder (Allen), Jonathan Moulthrop and Jeanne Moulthrop; dearest grandmother of Andrew and Peter McDonnell and Daniel, Toby and Thomas Gelder; dearest great-grandmother of Bonnie Gelder and Solomon McDonnell; dear sister of the late Mary Brandt Fuerst and Robert F. Brandt, Jr. Virginia, a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Allegheny College, was involved in many activities connected with Lyndhurst Community Presbyterian Church and American Association of University Women, and worked at the Mayfield Regional Library.

Donations may be made to the church in Virginia’s name. The family will be gathering in remembrance at a later date. Interment private, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.
