Clark, age 86 of Mendota, VA passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Clinchco, VA on May 25, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Jessee Louvada Taylor Depew. In addition to her parents Vivian was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eugene Clark; 2 sons, Marvin Daryl Clark and Dennis Scott Clark; 7 brothers and sisters.

She was a member of Bible Methodist Church, Mendota VA. She was active in community activities and was well known for quilt making. She is survived by sons, Mitchell Clark (Sandy), Daniel Clark (Carolyn), Stanley Clark (Nannalin) and Ricky Clark; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sisters Angita Creasy and Connie Baker (Thomas); brothers Roy Depew Jr. (Mary) and Bobby Depew; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 28, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, VA and anytime at the residence. Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Bill Porter officiating.

Music will be provided by Violinist great granddaughter, Gabrielle Chandler. Vivian will be laid to rest Saturday, December 30, 2018 at 1 PM in the Holston View Cemetery, Pallbearers are Joseph Chandler, Justice Dawson, Mark Baker, Brian Baker, Mike Barrett, Brandon Vines and Glenn Johnson. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 PM to follow in procession.
