McDowell, 63 Paul W. McDowell, age 63 of Gate City, VA passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Silver City, NM on 12/13/1955, and was the son of the late Opal Murray McClendon. Paul was an over the road truck driver for over 30 years.

He was a loving husband and had a special love for his dogs. Mr. McDowell is survived by his wife, Kathy McDowell; daughters Tonya Carroll and Tanessa Spann; sons Paul Wade McDowell Jr. and Joshua McDowell; a brother David McDowell (Liz); a special friend Tammy Sanders The family will receive friends Sunday, afternoon, December 30, 2018 at the residence.
