Hazel Eileen Pendleton January 07, 1930 – December 30, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Kingsport, TN – Hazel Eileen Pendleton Hazel Eileen Pendleton, age 88 of Kingsport, TN passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her residence. She was born in the Alley Valley community of Scott County, VA on January 7, 1930, and was the daughter of the late James Henry Egan and Laura Margaret Vicars. In addition to her parents, Hazel was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lloyd C. Pendleton; 4 sisters, Emily Egan, Ellan Egan, Alpha Darnell and Vie Mowdy Parker; 3 brothers, Willie Egan, Edgar Egan and Rayford Egan; 1 son in law, Robert Joe Hash.

Mrs. Pendleton was a homemaker and along with her late husband, she was a founding member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Morrison City. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Hash; son, Ronnie Pendleton (Fiance, Cathy Clawson) Church Hill, TN; 3 grandchildren, Chris Pendleton, Jon Pendleton and Josh Pendleton; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, VA.

There will be no formal funeral at Mrs. Pendleton’s request. A Committal service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11 AM in the Holston View Cemetery. The family will meet at 10:55 AM at the Cemetery.

Mrs. Pendleton’s nephew, Maynard Vermillion will be officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Online condolences may be made to the Pendleton family by visiting our website at www.
