Vivian Delores McGuire Stewart, of Dawson, Georgia, born on December 9, 1940 in Terrell County, Georgia, to the late Christine Garrett McGuire and the late John Collins McGuire, passed away at home at age 78 on January 7, 2019. She was a librarian at the Kinchafoonee Regional Library for many years. Vivian was married to the late Robert Tarver Stewart.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert McGuire. Vivian is survived by her sons, Timothy K. Stewart of Albany, Georgia and Ricky Earl Stewart (Peggy) of Cordele, Georgia; brother, Alvin McGuire of Pelham, Georgia; sisters, Frances Moncus of Webster County, Georgia and Marilee Collins of Daytona, Florida; grandchild, Austin Eubanks; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends and family members may attend the graveside service, officiated by Pastor Dick Gill, on Wednesday, January 9 at 3:00 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson.
