Funeral service for Vivian Elane Hardin Summerford, 99, will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Roundtop Church with Rev. Pearl J. Jenkins and Rev. Steve Jones officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Roundtop Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Roundtop Church. Mrs. Summerford died on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

She was born November 5, 1919, in Morgan County to Melvin Alec Hardin and Ruby Vesta Morris Hardin. She was a charter member of Roundtop Church and prior to her retirement worked as a Secretary and Receptionist for Dr. James Samuel Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred V. Summerford, her parents, a sister: Venera H. Howse, a brother: Herman Hardin.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Letha Hopkins Three Grandchilds: Bill Hopkins, Jr. (Shannon), Shane Hopkins (Kelley) and Neasha Hopkins Nine Great Grandchildren: T.J. Holmes, Justin Holmes (Jessie), Weston Hopkins (Erin), Emma Hopkins, Elijah Hopkins, Anna Katherine Hopkins, Evan Hopkins, Asher Hopkins and Andrew Hopkins Three Great Great Grandchildren: Keiana and Kaileb Holmes and Emory Hopkins Pallbearers will be Bill Hopkins, Shane Hopkins, Weston Hopkins, Justin Holmes, Elijah Hopkins and Arthur Ray Summerford.
