Obituary for Walter K. Bushong Walter K. Bushong, age 78, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away at 1:32 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at his residence. He was born October 8, 1940, in Pekin, Illinois, the son of the late Delmer R. & Vera (Lambert) Bushong. Walter work in jewelry retail management his entire career in the St. Louis area.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane Ann (Richardson) Bushong, whom he married August 29, 1970, in Williamson County, Illinois. He is also survived by one son & one daughter, both of Florida; and a sister, Bonnie Fryman & husband Jack of Pekin. Walter was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Bushong, Jerry Bushong; and one sister Wanda Bushong.

He was a previous member of the Christian Church in Pekin. Walter was cremated according to his wishes and will be buried at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville, Illinois. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville is in charge of arrangements.
