Walter Ray Andrews, 76, of Sheffield, AL passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with the service to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Rev.

Eddie Wix will be officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield. He was a member of York Terrace Baptist Church.

He was a supporter of University Alabama and a member of the Red Elephant Club of North West Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lyda Andrews. Survivors are wife, Carolyn Andrews and son, Jeff Andrews.

Pallbearers will be David Jordan, Jason Jordan, Zach Jordan, Barry Wylie, Scott Stansell, and Johnny Bonfield. Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society.

We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Patel and Dr. Daugherty. Also to the North West Alabama Hospice for their loving care. Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
