Obituary of Walter Turner Mr. Walter E. Turner, 91, passed away at 8:37 PM on Monday, June 25, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Turner was born on February 2, 1927, in Youngsville to the late Monte and Myrtle Crawford Turner. He was employed for 43 years at Parker White Metal Company in Fairview.

He worked in the finishing, grinding and shipping departments, until his retirement in 1992. Walter was a member of the Oil City Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and WPSD (Western PA School for the Deaf). He was very active in his church functions with the deaf and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by 9 children, Shirley Palmer and husband Roderick of Cooperstown, Benjamin Turner and wife Vera of Knoxville, TN, Twila Rogan and husband Timothy of Frederick, MD, Robin Turner of McKees Rocks, Beverly Turner of Pittsburgh, Patricia Turner of Texas, Hazel Turner of Maryland, Jo ann Simala and husband Mark of Wellsburg, WV, Sara Adams and husband Ryan of Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Turner; and 2 sisters, Mary Nelson and Eleanor Peter. Private funeral services are being conducted for the family at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354.
