Obituary for Wanda M. Courtney Wanda M. Courtney died peacefully at her home on May 22, 2018. Wanda was born in New Orleans and lived in Harvey most of her life. Wanda was the wife of the late William Richard Courtney.

She is preceded in death by her parents Iris (Dottie) Rodick Martin and Lonnie Martin and Dakus Marine. Her grandparents Adam and Lelia Morris Rodick and Walter and Sophie Kleinpeter Marine and Aunt Vera. Her in-laws Jane and Lenard Forrester.

Wanda left behind her sister Sally Martin Falcone (Paul) and her brother Joe Martin (Julie). Her brother in law Travis Wayne Courtney (Debbie). Wanda will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Leann Falcone (Daniel Bianchini), Loni Falcone Main (Justin), Rachel, Joshua, Caleb, Seth Martin and Sarah Martin Cuellar (Isai).

Her great nephews and niece Austin Falcone (Her Peewee), Juliet and Isai Cuellar will greatly miss their Gigi. She leaves behind many cousins and friends that will miss her. Wanda is missed by her loving cat of 14 years, Baby.

Wanda was a graduate from West Jefferson class of 1967. Friends and family are welcome to join us in her celebration of life at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy. , Harvey, LA on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 9:00-1:00.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 by Pastor Leo DeJesus. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna. We want to thank all of our family and friends for their support over the years physically, mentally and spiritually!
