Wanda L. McTaggart Sterling, Michigan Mrs. McTaggart 91 passed away peacefully on November 22, 2018 at Ascension Standish Hospital following a lingering illness. She was born in Alger on March 7, 1927 to the late Willard & Mary (Mathe) Dunn. She married John R. McTaggart on August 14, 1944, he preceded her in death on August 1, 1906.

Wanda and John worked together farming and raising a family on the family farm in Sterling. Her family will cherish the memory of her love of cooking making sure no one went away hungry and she always had cookies, fresh bread and John’s tea cup was full.

She is survived by her grandchildren Kevin & Misty McTaggart, Jeremy & Jaimie McTaggart, Christopher & Melissa McTaggart, Arron Marshall and Sarah & Dean Fishel; 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; three brothers James & Judy Dunn, Ernie & Betty Dunn and John & Laveta Dunn and a son in law Robert Marshall She was preceded in death by her children John & Beverly (Cozart) McTaggart, Louise Marshall and an infant son; great grandchildren Katlyn & Faith McTaggart; two sisters Kate Osborne and Grace DeHaan; a brother George Dunn. Funeral services will be held Monday November 26, 2018 at 11 am from Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home- STANDISH CHAPEL with burial in Sterling Cemetery. Family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 to 9 pm and Monday from 9 am until time of services.
