Wanda’s Obituary Wanda Lee Deem, 88, of Parkersburg, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2019 at her daughter’s home in La Grange, NC. She was born June 1, 1930, in Wood County, WV, the daughter of the late, Fred S. and Ocie F. Silket Walker. Wanda was a 1948 graduate of Parkersburg High School.

She was a Matron at The Masonic Home for 17 years. Wanda was also a member of Grace Gospel Church in Pettyville. She is survived by her daughter, who she lived with for the past year and a half, Janice Sutton of NC; two sons, Gary Hazelett (Patsy) and Randy Deem (Polly) of Macksburg, OH; two daughters in-law, Sandy Hazelett of Parkersburg and Beth Deem of FL; sister, Ann Wilson of Carrollton, OH; and twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by the love of her life, Weldon W. Deem; three sons, Dennis and Roger Deem and Terry Hazelett; sister, Fern Krampitz; and one grandson, Justin Sutton. Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Monday, June 3, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Troy Derenberger officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

on Sunday and one hour prior to the services Monday at the funeral home.
