Wanda Lee Sanders, 77, of Whitewater, Missouri died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 her home. She was born January 19, 1942 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Elmer and Gertrude (McCulley) Green. Wanda first married Charles Sanders.

She later married Sammie Pounds and he preceded her in death May 9, 2009. She worked at Thorngate LTD for over 40 years. Survivors include her mother, Gertrude Cruz of Whitewater; sons, Charles Wayne Sanders and David (Tina) Sanders, all of Whitewater; daughters, Sandra (Charlie) Barnes of Cape Girardeau and Tina (Richard) Britt of Zalma; brothers, Dan (Christy) Cruz of Whitewater and Eddie (Sherry) Cruz of Jackson; sister, Linda (Larry) Duran of Palmyra, Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; two husbands; son, Elmer Louis Sanders; brothers, Jimmie, Henry, Wayne and Danny. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Jackson. Graveside service will be at 11:30 AM Saturday at McGuire Cemetery in Burfordville with the Rev.
