Wanda’s Obituary Wanda Sue Brown, 78, of Wylie passed away peacefully on Saturday, January, 19, 2019 in Plano with her son, Bubba, and granddaughter, Dana, by her side. Wanda was born on January 26, 1940 in Blue Ridge, Texas to her late parents, Harvey Brakefield Dickson and Beulah Barnett Dickson. Though Wanda was born in Blue Ridge she grew up in Wylie, always calling Wylie her home.

Wanda had worked as a semi-conductor inspector prior to retiring. Wanda will always be remembered for her wit, her love of flowers and springtime, and her personality. She leaves behind her son Steve “Bubba” Montgomery and his wife, Melinda “Queenie” Montgomery of Wylie and daughter, Dequita Willard and her husband, Mick Willard of Mt.

Pleasant. Also left to remember her memory are her 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and her constant companion for the last few months, Duke. A memorial for Wanda will be held in Blue Ridge in the springtime.
