Ward D. Marsh sadly passed away on May 11, 2019 at age 55. He is the beloved companion of Monica; son of Helen Marsh and the late Theodore Marsh; loving brother of the late Theodore Marsh, Jr. and his wife Cathy, Gary Marsh and his wife Bridget, and the late Mark Marsh and former wife Kimberly Marsh; cherished uncle of Matthew Marsh, Sarah Williams, and Chelsie Marsh. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Ward was very accomplished despite being injured at age 19 in a swimming accident. He persevered through quadriplegia and graduated from UMBC, drove his specially adapted van, lived independently in his own home and sustained a long career working for CMS. Ward enjoyed family gatherings, cigars, and watching Jeopardy and sports.

All arrangements are private at the family’s request. Donations can be made in Ward’s honor to University of Maryland Medical System.
