Mr. Wayne Moore, 82, of Golden Good Shepherd Home, formerly of Camp Point, died at 8:10 p.m. Saturday (October 6, 2018) at the home. Born November 28, 1935, in Mt. Sterling, IL Wayne was a son of Kline and Francis Matton Moore.

He married Carlene Louderback on November 16, 1954, in Quincy, IL. She survives. Clifford was a graduate of Liberty High School.

He was a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed spending time with members of the congregation and preaching Gods word. Wayne loved his family and always made sure they were cared for.

He enjoyed camping, picnics, fairs, and cars and going to car shows. He is survived by his wife Carlene, a son, Rickey Moore of Camp Point, a daughter Carol (Dale) Wells of Quincy, a grandson, Dustin (Donnely) Moore, a great-granddaughter, Madeline Moore, 3 brothers, Leroy (Peggy) Moore, Lawrence Moore, Gary (Luanne) Moore, a sister, Betty Weilder and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Stanley Moore, a sister, Doris Barry and a brother, Gordon Moore.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point with Andy Lear officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the time of services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
