HAINES CITY, FL – Mrs. Wilda “Da” Robinson, passed away on Feb. 5, 2019, at the age of 91. She was born in Eagle Lake, FL, on Nov.

2, 1927, and lived all of her adult life in Haines City, FL. Wilda married Lawrence Robinson on Aug. 8, 1958, and had one daughter, Deborah Ferguson, 59.

Wilda lived with Deborah and her grandson, Lance Ferguson, 28, in Haines City, FL. Wilda worked at Haines City Citrus Growers for the majority of her daughter’s childhood. She later worked in the jewelry department at Wal-Mart.

Wilda was an active member of Northridge Church in Haines City, FL. She always went out of her way to care for those in need and was beloved by her family and friends. Wilda was a wonderful cook and is fondly remembered for her homemade fried chicken, coconut cake and peach cobbler.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Knowles; her brother, Willard Creel; her husband, Lawrence Robinson; and her son-in-law, Ron Ferguson. She is survived by Deborah and Lance Ferguson and her niece, Betty Butcher, of Port Orange, FL. A service will be held in remembrance of Wilda on Saturday, Feb.

9, at Northridge Church. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Wilda Robinson please visit our Sympathy Store.
