Vivian McDaniel, 94, of Davenport, FL, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Haines City Health Care. She was born on May 22, 1924 to Harvey and Edith (Brown) Wright in Millinocket, ME. Vivian moved to Davenport, FL, 20 years ago from Greensville, SC and worked most of her life as a hairdresser, in fact, she owned Vivian’s Beauty Salon for 25 years where she eventually retired from.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Eastern Star. Vivian cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, enjoyed spending time at her cottage in the summer and liked playing bingo at the club. She was a very outgoing and fun loving person.

Vivian is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be truly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, of 60 years, Murray McDaniel. Vivian is survived by her son, James McDaniel of Davenport, FL; grandchildren, Kelly Dishaw and Stacey McDaniel; great grandson, Patrick Dishaw and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL.
