Wilfred W. Villeneuve September 13, 1943 – January 16, 2019 Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Wilfred “Billy” William Villeneuve, age 75, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born September 13, 1943 in Crystal Falls, MI, the son of the late Wilfred Peter and Selma Joyce (Leanna) Villeneuve. He attended Forest Park Schools in Crystal Falls.

Billy married Barbara Ann Jacobson on December 31, 1998 at the Justice of the Peace. They resided in Iron River. He was quite the handyman before retirement including working on the pipeline back in the day.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being down at camp, shooting darts, playing pool, socializing with friends, and family dinners. Billy is survived by his wife, Barb; sons, Ken Villeneuve of Colorado and David Villeneuve Sr. of Iron River, MI; daughters, Shelley (Steve) Matt and Becky Devroy, both of Marquette, MI; brother, Robert C. (Nancy) Villeneuve of Iron River, MI; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn (Villeneuve) Dinco and nephew, Robert Villeneuve Jr. Private services will be held.
