He was born on July 21, 1995 in Dallas, Texas to his mother, Karla Gonzalez, and his father, Will Funes, Sr. Will had many passions in his life such as soccer, the Dallas Cowboys, dancing, and eating various foods. To the sorrow of his family and friends, Will Funes, Jr. passed away at his home surrounded by his beloved family on August 9, 2018.

Will’s love and his joy were anchors for others, just as their love and hope were anchors for him. While his smile, his pinky-promises, and his joy will be missed by all, his love and spirit will remain with those he loves forever.
