OBITUARY William A. “Bill” Knight September 2, 1945 – September 28, 2018 William A. “Bill” Knight, 73, of Morristown, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, at his home. He worked at BASF for 50 years and was the owner of Four Seasons Ground Service. He attended Calvary Baptist of Morristown and was a member of the Hamblen County Car Club.

Survivors include two sons daughters-in-law: Scott and Marnie Knight and Mannix and Shelley Knight; one daughter: Cindy Knight; step daughter and husband: Debbie and Greg Worley; fiancée: Donna Holdway Bonawitz; five grandchildren: Bryson Knight, Trent Knight, Natalie Knight, Colin Knight, Koralee Knight; step grandchildren: Matthew and Cortney Worley; siblings: Erma House, Danny and Lavada Knight, Jerry and Deborah Knight; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Georgia Knight, and his wife, Mary Ann Knight. He served with the U.S. Army in the 1st Infantry C Big Red 1 in Vietnam for 14 months in 1964-1966.

He was a great man who was a loving father and grandfather. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Larry Parrot officiating.

Interment will follow in Jackson’s Chapel Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service. Pallbearers will be Tom Solomon, Benny Marshall, Max Hawkins, Charlie Fellers, Santos Zuniga, and Boni Vega.

Honorary pallbearers are Charles Knight, Buford Knight, Tammy Hopson, Larry Shockley, and Lynn Murray. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jackson’s Chapel Cemetery or Calvary Baptist Church of Morristown.
