Bratton, suddenly on May 18, 2019 at his home on Stonewood Road in the New Northwood section of Baltimore City. Born William Eugene Bratton on August 7, 1932 in Bloomington, McClean County, Illinois, Bill leaves no known relatives. A graduate of Morgan State University in 1974, he received a B.S. in Accounting.

In December of 1992 he retired from 24 years of service at the Social Security Headquarters in Woodlawn. He was an avid card player, enjoying Bridge every Monday at the Bykota Senior Center in Towson. Square dancing was a life long enjoyment of Bills.

He drove all around the country to participate in square dancing jamborees and conventions. A funeral service will be held at his church, Loch Raven United Methodist Church, 6622 Loch Raven Blvd. Baltimore, MD 21239 on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:30am.

Interment is private at the Holly Hill Memorial Gardens in Middle River. Kindly omit flowers. Donations may be sent to his church.
