William “Bill” Franklin Guessman October 26, 1928 – January 09, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Bill Guessman, age 90 of Oak Grove Community passed away Wednesday January 9, 2019. He was born October 26, 1928 in Malvern to the late William and Minnie Lois (Johnston) Guessman. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a volunteer Board Member for the Southwest Rural Volunteer Fire Department.

He was the owner and operator of a cabinet shop. He was a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher, Superintendent and a board member, and active in the Men’s Ministry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred Jean Guessman and several siblings. Survivors include his son Garth Guessman (Corrie) of California, sister Billie Tankersley, extended family Linda Coffman, Janice “Susie” Didion (Richard), Jimmy Courtney (Kathy), and Deborah Varga (Ernie), 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday January 12, 10:30-11:00 am with services following at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev.

John Graham officiating. Burial will be at Lone Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Korsmeier, JD Korsmeier, David Coffman, Kevin Coffman, Garth Guessman, George Jennings.
