William Haley (Bill) Kidd, 89, passed away peacefully at home, on January 11, after an extended illness. Bill was born July 29, 1929 in Shawnee, OK and moved to the Kansas City area in 1944. He was a graduate of CMSU, served in the military and worked with several accounting firms until beginning his own business, K&K Management, along with three partners in 1970.

He and his wife also served as the Administrative Office of the Society of Medical/Dental Management Consultants, until retirement in 1997. Bill was a member of Raytown Kiwanis Club for 14 years, serving as Lt. Governor of Division IV and an Elder in Faith Presbyterian Church from 1990 until his death.

He was preceded in death by three siblings. Bill is survived by his wife, of 36 years, Joyce; daughters, Linda Roberts and Laurie Kidd; two step daughters, Tracey Reno and Sherry Nash; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Bill and Joyce were avid animal lovers and contributions may be made in Bill’s name to any animal organization of your choice and would be greatly appreciated.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1-2:00pm at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8301 James A. Reed Road, Raytown, MO, a memorial service will follow at the church. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of William “Bill” Haley Kidd please visit our Sympathy Store.
