William “Bill” Smith Ferguson June 06, 1937 – May 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card William “Bill” Smith Ferguson age 81 of Auburn, Kentucky passed away Tuesday 14, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on June 6, 1937 to the late Colin Campbell and Gladys Jane (Watson) Ferguson. Bill was a member of the First Christian Church in Russellville, member of the Auburn Masonic Lodge #374 and was an Engineer in Plastics having worked with Rockwell, Cutler Hammer (Eaton) and consulted for EMB Corporation in Elizabethtown.

He is preceded by his wife of 59 years Patricia Ann Ferguson and is survived by his: Two sons Bill Ferguson II (Shanna) of Auburn, Robert Ferguson (Marline) of Houston, TX, brother Colin Ferguson (Mary Alice) Martinsville, VA, sister Janet Elaine Ferguson Covington (Edward Royals) of Hendersonville and two grandchildren Sara Ferguson and Connor Ferguson. Funeral services for William “Bill” Ferguson will be conducted Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. James Douthitt officiating and burial to follow in the Auburn Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time at 11:00 A.M. Pallbearers: Bill Ferguson II, Robert Ferguson, Sara Ferguson, Connor Ferguson, Chris Glover and Bradley Glover. The family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
