Corson – William C. Sr., 77, East Taylor, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2019 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born on May 27, 1941 in Smokeless, PA, son of Crawford and Katherine (Pierce) Corson. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Winkelman, Laura Yoder, Betty Jones, and Dorothy Ramirez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Virginia G. (Rummell) Corson; children, William C. (Peggy) Corson Jr., and Richard M. (Karen) Corson, all of Parkhill, Rhonda G. Corson, East Taylor, Todd A. (Amy) Corson, Daytona, FL, and JoAnn M. Bozich, Parkhill; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Audrey (Bob) Kris, Tanneryville; brothers, George (Betty) Corson Sr., Woodvale, Kenneth (Chris) Corson, Vinco, and Thomas Corson, Burnside, PA and several nieces and nephews. Bill was employed for 13 years at Tunnelton Mining Company as a coal miner. He was a member of Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church, where he drove the church bus for many years.

Bill enjoyed racoon hunting, farming, horses, running his equipment, and his horse, Dolly and his dog, Emma. He loved his family dearly and will be remembered for his kind heart and his many pranks and jokes. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev.

Clifford Richey officiating. Interment will be at Headrick Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be posted to www.
