BRADFORD, William D. “Bill” – of Brant, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. He was 80 years of age. Bill was born May 8, 1938, in Brant Twp.

to the late Dale and Emma (Kruge) Bradford. He was a lifelong resident of Brant Twp. Bill married Barbara Schultheiss on October 8, 1960.

He retired from Browning Co., farmed, raised livestock and drove school bus for Chesaning Schools. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Bill enjoyed farming, driving the school bus and visiting with his friends.

Surviving are: wife, Barbara; daughter, Donna (Carl) Thiel of Chesaning; son, Gary Bradford of Merrill; grandchildren: Kathleen (Jonathan) Ehlers of WI, Emily (Chris) Grant of Shields, Matthew Thiel of WI, Billy Bradford of Merrill and Casie Sterbanz of Saginaw; great-grandchildren: Elijah and Ezekiel Ehlers, Autumn, Lily and Thomas Grant; brother, Dale M. Bradford of Alma; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: sons, Roger in 1965 and Jeffrey in 1978; grandson, Bradford Thiel in 1994; and 2 sisters. Rev.

David Mielke will officiate the funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 16070 W. Brady Road, Oakley with burial to follow in Brant Cemetery #2. Visitation will be held at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
