McKaye, Carol Ann (Cicalo) “Grandma” – passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, October 20, 2018. She was born October 26,1933, in Saginaw MI to the late Anthony Cicalo Sr. and Anna Zimmerman. Carol married Donald McKaye on February 7, 1951, in Saginaw, MI.

They had two children: son, Bruce (Monica) McKaye and daughter, Toni Ann Tripp. Together they had five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Carol had three brothers: Matteo Cicalo, Anthony Cicalo Jr. and Jim Colter; sister Dorothy Peterson; four brothers-in-law; seven sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Matteo; sister-in-law, Shirley; and son-in-law, Steven Tripp. She was cared for by her devoted guardians, Christine and Larry Weber. Carol loved caring for her family, traveling, watching her “oldie but goodie” tv shows, enjoying the farm animals, and bullshitting with friends over coffee.

She was greatly loved and will be missed. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
