William David Luther, Sr. age 76 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 4th, 2019. He spent 38 years of his life in ministry serving the Lord. He was loved and admired by everyone who met him.

His desire was to see people come to know the Lord as their Savior. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Joann “Jody” Hart Jones Luther. He is survived by his wife, Delores Ray Luther of 14 years, his children, Sharon Kuhnle and husband Jeff, David Luther and wife Kimberly, six grandchildren, Justina, Billy, Emma, Sarah, Justin and Paul and six Great Grandchildren.

He also was blessed with four step children, Darrell, Karen, Roger and Lisa with numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home, 162 E. Meeting Street, Dandridge, TN 37725 Saturday February 9th from 11am until 1pm, with the funeral service to follow conducted by Jesse Buell, and longtime dear friend Buddy Boue Interment will be immediately following at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge, TN. In Lieu of flowers, David Luther’s desire was to help his Granddaughter Emma on her first mission trip to the Philippines.
