William Earl’s Obituary William Earl Morgan passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Panola Medical Center in Batesville while surrounded by his family. Born September 17, 1941 in Bruce to William Bryant Morgan and Christine Floyd Morgan, he was 77. William Earl was a businessman, investing in Bruce and Calhoun County.

For over 36 years, he and his wife Ann have owned and operated WO7BN TV, the first low power television station in Mississippi. Before investing in television, William Earl owned and operated Morgan Electronics in Bruce. Having a deep love and appreciation for music, he was the founder of William Morgan and 5 C’s.

Additionally, William Earl was a singer with both the Kinsmen Gospel Quartet and the Morgan and Morgan Quartet. A veteran with 6 years of service in the Mississippi National Guard, he was the oldest living lifetime member of Parker Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. As he is called home, William Earl will be dearly missed by family and friends who cherish the memories he created and left with them in his 77 years with us.

William Earl leaves behind his Wife, Ann Lowe Morgan of Bruce; Sons, Bill (Gina) Morgan of Pontotoc, Rick (Anna) Morgan of Tupelo, and Rob (Shonda) Morgan of Tupelo; Sister, Olivia Plunk of Bruce; Grandchildren, Hannah Morgan, Sam Morgan, Bryant Morgan, Joy Morgan, Mary Kathryn Morgan, Brooklyn Morgan, Jacob Morgan, and Ava Clair Morgan; and Brother-in-Law’s, Paul (Ruby) Lowe of Vardaman and Scott (Rhonda) Lowe of Soddy Daisy, TN. There will be a visitation with the family on Tuesday Evening, February 5, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. A funeral service honoring the life of William Earl will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 starting at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home.

Brother Junior Ritchie will officiate services, with Brother Paul Morris and Dr. David Hamilton assisting. Following the funeral service on Wednesday, William Earl will be laid to rest in Memory Memorial Garden Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Alan Lowe, Jake Lowe, Matt Lowe, Bryant Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Sam Morgan, Jerry Allen Plunk, and Vernon Plunk.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Melton, Thomas Morris, Les Morgan, Jeff Patton, and Steve Poindexter, all of whom are William Earl’s fellow Deacons at Parker Baptist Church. William Earl was preceded in death by his Mother and Father. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Parker Baptist Church, 1228 Highway 32 W., Water Valley, MS, 38965.
