NEW WATERFORD – William L. Kissinger, 77, passed away on Saturday morning, November 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Mr. Kissinger was born on December 27, 1940 in East Palestine, OH, a son of Cecil and Edythe (Beck) Kissinger. After graduating from East Palestine High School, William served in the US Air Force.

On April 1, 1964, he married the former Dorothy Owens and together they would raise two children. He was employed as a security guard at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Youngstown. In his free time William enjoyed traveling, especially out west.

Mr. Kissinger leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife Dorothy of New Waterford, a daughter, Peggy Barnhart of New Waterford, a son David Kissinger of Negley; grandchildren Heather and Derek; and great grandchild Harley. William was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Myrna Curry. Funeral services, officiated by Reverend William Wolfgang, will be held on Monday evening, November 26 at 7:00pm, at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm St., Columbiana, OH, 44408.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 26 from 6:00– 7:00pm at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home Columbiana Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in William’s memory to St. Anthony Church, 1155 Turin St., Youngstown, OH, 44510. The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
