William Romanello, 93, a resident of Rye Brook, NY died July 6, 2018. He was born July 29, 1924 in Port Chester to the late Leonard and Vita Carriero Romanello. He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School.

Mr. Romanello was a Vice President of Modern Tabacco in Port Chester for 44 years until his retirement. He was the widow of Nancy DeRosa Romanello who died March 2, 2015. He was an active parishioner of Saint Paul’s RC Church in Greenwich, CT.

He was an usher and a assistant at funerals. He is survived by his children Leonard Romanello of Rye Brook, NY. , William Romanello of Greenwich, CT.

, Carol Bennett and husband Robert of Port Chester, NY. , Donna Friedman of Greenwich, CT. , and Vita Imbrogno and husband Michael of Greenwich, CT.

, grandchildren Robert, William and Christian Bennett, Nanci Boldizar and Jarrod Holland, great grandchildren Veronica Renne and Logan Bennett, Helena, William and Siena Boldizar. Besides his wife he was predeceased by his 7 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM on Monday July 9, 2018 at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church 84 Sherwood Ave.

Greenwich, CT. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY. There will be no visitation.
