William “Skip” B. Mentzer May 11, 1952 – May 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card There will be services held at 11 AM on Friday May 24, 2019 at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for William B. “Skip” Mentzer age 67, of Masury who passed away on Saturday May 18, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic. William was born May 11, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of John E. & Sarah Jane List Mentzer and was a 1970 graduate of Lowellville High School. Skip was an industrial mechanic for over 30 years at Dearing Compressor retiring in 2013.

He was a member of NRA, was a Boy Scout leader for many years and later Scout Master, and enjoyed woodworking. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. He will be sadly missed by his family; his wife the former Ellen Mason whom he married February 18, 2000, his sons John (April) Mentzer of Lowellville, James (Robyn) Mentzer of Struthers, his step-children David (Ashley) Mesaros of Hubbard, Margaret Mesaros of Clio, Michigan, Tiffany (Tony) Cullison of Independence, Ohio 12 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

He also leaves his brother James (Barb) Mentzer of Waterville, Ohio. His parents preceded him in death. There will be calling hours on Thursday May 23, 2019 from 5-7 and Friday May 24, 2019 prior to the service from 10-11 AM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
