Obituary for William Thomas Moore William Thomas “Tom” Moore, 96, of Magnolia, AR died Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Community Compassion Center of Magnolia. Tom was born May 5, 1922 in Walkerville, AR to the late Robert Walker and Ella Cleone (Green) Moore. He was a retired MSGT serving in the United States Air Force during World War II and Korean War.

After serving in the military he was a mail carrier and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dorothy “Dottie” Irene Moore; brother Horace “Doode” Moore; and sisters Lorene Moore and Ella Mae (Moore) Smith. He is survived by his daughter Marsha Canterbury of Emerson; son Tom Moore and wife Sharon of Hot Springs Village; grandchildren Zane Schuyler of St. Louis, MO, Luke Canterbury of Magnolia, and Mandy Moore-Elcyzyn and husband Tim of Hot Springs Village; great grandson Beckam Schuyler of St Louis, MO; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Eric Goble officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at the Stewart-Walkerville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luke Canterbury, Zane Schuyler, William Smith, Mark Smith, Lewis Smith, and Devin Dew.
