Obituary for William “Will” Lee Hammerschmidt William “Will” Lee Hammerschmidt October 21, 1999-October 19, 2018 William “Will” Lee Hammerschmidt, 18, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday October 19, 2018. He was born October 21, 1999 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Shane Hammerschmidt and Crystal (Quirk) Hammerschmidt. Will loved fishing, archery, and guns.

His favorite hobby was collecting pocket knives and belt buckles. Will lovingly cared for this truck and liked listening to old country music. He will be remembered as being hard working and having a heart of gold.

Will loved his family dearly, and will be missed greatly by his two best doggie buds, Tango and Cash. He is also survived by his sister, Nola Hammerschmidt of La Porte, IN; four grandparents, Rick Hammerschmidt of Lebanon, IN, Pat Davidson of Fritch, TX, Rick (Jamie) Praveck of White Pigeon, MI. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave.

, La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Wednesday, October 24, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – until time of services. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday October 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jay Loucks officiating.
