William S. Moore, 91, passed away at his home on May 13, 2018. Bill was born in Youngstown on March 21, 1927 to John & Betsy (Summers) Moore. He was raised in Canada and graduated from Richmond Hill high school while there.

On April 21, 1948, Bill was united in marriage to the former Margaret Ransom who preceded him in death on May 18, 2014. Bill worked for US Steel for 34 years as an electrical foreman before retiring in 1980. When Bill wasn’t working, he was working on the family’s Crossgates Farm.

He also spent many years as a 4-H leader. Following cremation, private family services will be held. Bill is survived by his children Anne (Roger) Viets, Douglas (Mary Jane) Moore, David (Heather) Moore and Mary (Rudy) Kovacevich all of Fowler; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and his sister Mary Scott of Ontario, Canada.
