Mr. Willie Lamar Weathers, age 52 of Whiteville, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. A native of Columbus County, Lamar was the son of the late James Garland Weathers and Mary Lou Maddox Weathers. To cherish his precious memory, Lamar leaves behind his beloved wife, Debra Ann Quick Weathers of the home; siblings, Garland Loran Weathers of the home, Lynell Weathers Mishoe of Charleston, SC, Lisa W. Shipman of Leland; Sister-in-law, Cindy Q. Schneider; Nieces & Nephews, Brandi Hodnett, Bryan Kissam, Brandon Fisher, Brooke Mansfield, Baleigh Fisher, Kristopher Weathers, Jenna Schneider, Stephen Schneider, & Scott Schneider.

Funeral Services celebrating Lamar’s life, will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery, following the visitation. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, at Worthington Funeral Home (prior to Graveside Service.
